A 14-hectare-wide land that is located on Jl Marga Satwa, Pondok Labu, South Jakarta will be made a reservoir.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama wants the land belongs to City Park and Cemetery Dept to be maximized and can be used for reservoir construction.
He asserted, if the land was made as a reservoir, it could reduce inundation. But, its construction must remain go through study first.

Formerly, South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi explained Jakarta government has an empty land that is suitable for reservoir.
"Sir, this is our land, belonging Park Dept. It has 14 hectares wide, 119 meters can be made reservoir," he stated.
He predicts, if the land used as reservoir, it can reduce inundation from Grogol River and Jati River.
